Every morning, I try to roll out of bed with my brain in "sponge" mode. Open to new ideas- not stuck in "same old, same old." Constantly trying to see the world through a slightly different, maybe even sideways, kind of light. Keeps things interesting, and my perspective collection is getting pretty impressive.

My work life? Let's just say I've hung out in some pretty intense rooms. Directing airport security, leading law enforcement teams, teaching folks how not to get blown up, managing defense projects on a global scale. You learn a few things when the pressure's on, like the value of staying cool as a cucumber, being annoyingly precise, and laser-focused. Especially when the stakes are "don't mess this up" high.

Then there was the time spent as a developmental disabilities counselor. That gig? It taught me some real magic: connecting with people, empathy, having patience, and making sure your words actually land. Powerful stuff. 

And the custom home design? That scratched a different itch – the need to build something solid but also make it look damn good. Order with a little bit of artistic flair. My inner neat freak and my inner creative finally found common ground.

Outside the studio, I'm rocking the dad/grandpa gig, still mainlining knowledge, and yelling at the TV for the Yankees and Steelers (it's a tradition, don't judge). I also like wandering around museums, catching a show now and then, and even braving the opera (yeah, La Bohème gets me). And music? That's the daily soundtrack, the background noise that somehow makes sense of everything. Every genre, every note – it all adds something to the overall vibe.

I tend to work quietly, under the radar, but with a real purpose: to make people feel confident and trust what I bring to the table. For me, it's not about being the loudest voice in the room; it's about subtly making the biggest impact. You know, the "secret weapon" approach.
